1. Call the Telemarketer and Tell Them to Take You Off Their List
By contacting the telemarketer and asking them to remove you from your list, you are revoking any consent you may have given them in the first place. 2. Sign Up for the Do Not Call List
You can sign up for the do-not-call list here. This will be helpful in reducing the telemarketing calls. Of course, many marketers ignore the list altogether. Either way, you can always report the phone spam on HLF’s website, and we will track down the phone spammer and try to help you collect $500 – $1500 per phone call that they sent you.
3. Complete the Spam Report On Our Website
By completing the Telemarketer Abuse Report form on HLF’s website, HLF will try and help you collect $500 – $1500 per phone call you received from a telemarketer if they called you through an autodialer or prerecorded message without your consent. Please include as many details of the call you can. Please make a note if there was a pause before you were connected to a live operator or a prerecorded message.
